Anonymous artist’s story

As an individual who is not very artistic, 'Dipping My Toes into a Pond' explores my attempt at trying something unfamiliar to me, trying to discover parts of my identity. The art is not meant to perfect, it is supposed to reflect imperfection and the process of finding what makes an individual who they are. The Koi fish represent you, the viewer also navigating your way through life, something so incomplete and unbalanced shown through the uneven drying of the watercolour. I hope to relay that you are not alone on this path of figuring new things about youself.
